    Urban Rebounding is an unique form of exercise that reduces your body fat and firms your legs, thighs, abdomen, arms and hips. The workout not only improves the participant’s cardio-vascular fitness, but it continually challenges balance, coordination and proprioception like no other activity can. An Urban Rebounding workout burns a tremendous amount of calories with minimal stress on the body.

    It is performed entirely on a specially designed high quality, spring-enhanced mini-trampoline with a non-slip surface. The design is unique to Urban Rebounding. The exercise is accomplished by jumping only a few inches off the surface of the Urban Rebounder and is based around 8 “core moves” which work all of the muscles in the body.

    How does Urban Rebounding work?

    Urban Rebounding is the only form of exercise that utilizes gravity, acceleration and deceleration on the vertical plane in order to gain health-related benefits. By pushing down (decelerating), and jumping up (accelerating) you cause an increase in the amount of G-Force. It is the increase in G-Force that gives you all the benefits of rebounding. The human body has roughly 65 – 80 trillion cells. While on the Urban Rebounder, each and every cell in the body feels the increase in G-force and adapts to become stronger, including cells of the internal organs, muscles and skin.     After several years of research the Urban Rebounder has been designed to help the participant achieve maximum health benefits. Uniquely, the Urban Rebounder is 40 inches wide, 9 inches tall (from the floor) and has over 36 high quality, steel springs that are specially designed in an oval pattern and are specifically calibrated to ensure the user gets a more resilient bounce. Other rebounders do not have this advanced spring system, are typically only 6 inches tall (from the floor) and therefore cannot provide the same health benefits the Urban Rebounder can. The Urban Rebounder mat surface has over 3000 stitches of high quality non-slip material, unlike most standard rebounders that use permatron which is a cheaper laminated mat surface that can be slippery when wet. Research from the University of Utah found that working out on a rebounder’s soft surface can absorb 87% of the shock versus working out on a hardwood floor.
